Brocade Half-Tied Vintage cushion

We are very proud to offer you Lily Koi Saigon, a unique line of handmade and hand dyed textile collection of pillows, inspired by the vivid colors and fabrics of the indigenous hill tribe people of Vietnam. We are the only stockist of this collection in Europe, apart from Harrods in London. 

Lily Koi Saigon sources her materials from local craftsman in small villages in Northern Vietnam and all cushions are one of a kind. The vintage textiles are hand chosen for their beauty and emotional resonance. Our friend Jan, the designer and owner of Lily Koi Saigon, combines these finds with new textiles: hand dyed silk, velvet, cotton and linen. This gives her collection a sense of heritage.

This rare Brocade collection is made from beautiful natural cotton blankets, woven in the Vietnam highlands on backstrap home looms. Geometric patterns make this collection perfect for any home. Cotton ties secure the brocade allowing the easy removal of the fill for easy cleaning. Colors range black / cream, blue / cream, brown / tan, black / white.

Please note that due to age of materials some patches will have minor defects - the designer sees this as a part of the story and charm of these beautiful textiles.

Each pillow is unique and they vary from another due to the handmade nature of the original textile. As they are all one of a kind they tell their individual story and this makes the special charm of this exclusive cushion line.
