In Northern Vietnam, the tribes amongst the Hmong women are planting hemp and cotton near their villages around Sapa. Those are then harvested in autumn and dried and spun. Later those fabrics are woven to this special traditional fabrics. For the coloring they win Indigo as they have done for centuries from local plants.
